You may experience the following side effects - not reported in more detail:
Hi all!
I was taking fluconazole for a urinary tract infection. It was a 3-day course of 250 mg diflucan. I am a new doctor and I just recently started taking it for my urinary tract infection. I'm also taking metronidazole for a skin infection.
This is not a complete story. I am having an infection in my right prostate and a urinary tract infection in my left. The symptoms were both after starting on a 3 day course of 400 mg diflucan. I am now experiencing the symptoms again and the next few days I am having my urine completely empty. I have been thinking about changing to a once-a-day dose of 400 mg diflucan and I'm having the same symptoms. I'm also having the same symptoms again, but I'm not sure if it is a good idea to take more than 400 mg diflucan every day. Can anyone recommend a way to take the same dose of metronidazole for my symptoms? I am not sure how to take it without knowing anything about the medication or what it is used for.
I've heard that some people with severe kidney and urinary tract infections have more than one dose of the antibiotic. I'm not sure how that is related to the course. I also have never had a UTI before. I have heard that taking the same dose of metronidazole will be fine for me. I've also heard that the dosage may be different depending on what I've been taking. I'm trying to find the right amount of metronidazole for my symptoms, but I'm not sure if I should take more than 400 mg diflucan. I'm also not sure if I should be using the same dosage of metronidazole every day. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Dr. Miller: Thank you so much for your time. I also had the same symptoms when I took 400 mg diflucan and I'm glad that I did. I also had a UTI in my right prostate and I took metronidazole to ease the symptoms and to make sure I didn't have any side effects.
Thanks again for your help!
Miller: I'm very glad to hear that you are having an infection. It's very frustrating because of the 3-day course. I was thinking of going with a 3-day course of 400 mg diflucan, but I have no idea exactly what to do. I am also wondering if I should take a 1-day dose of metronidazole and then go for the full course of 400 mg diflucan. I've heard that taking a 1-day dose can be safe. Do you think the 1-day dose of metronidazole would work the same as the full dose? I just wonder if anyone knows the best way to do this. Thanks again for your time!I have not had a UTI in my right prostate and I've been taking metronidazole for about 4 weeks. I am still experiencing the symptoms again, but now I'm able to get rid of them. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to take the 1-day dose or not. I am also thinking of going with the full dose of metronidazole. I just wanted to know if it was safe to take the full dose? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Miller: Thanks again for all your help. I'm glad to hear that you have had a UTI. I really am having the same problem now. I have a urinary tract infection and am taking metronidazole. I am having the same symptoms as I did when I started the 1-day course of 400 mg diflucan, and it's a good idea to take the full dose of metronidazole. It would be great if you could take the full dose of metronidazole with a break of the course. If you could find something similar to the 1-day dose of metronidazole that would be great.
Miller: I would definitely take the full dose of metronidazole with a break of the course if it were me. I have been taking metronidazole for the past 4 weeks. I started taking it for about 3 weeks and my symptoms went away. I am also on the full dose now and I can't remember if I should take the full dose.
